One of the best ways to improve soil health is to apply Cover Crop to your soil.
Cover Crop is a mix of grass seeds that get sprinkled onto garden beds after harvest, in the Fall.
These grasses put nutrients back into the soil that were taken out by all the veggies, which helped feed them and grow strong and healthy.
By applying Cover Crop in the Fall, the grasses will grow through to next Spring, at which point, you can shovel up the grass and flip it back into your bed, where it will decompose.
